Participatory processes are time-limited activities designed to involve the community in specific decisions, consultations, or initiatives.

They are commonly used for:

  • Collecting ideas and feedback

  • Discussing and improving proposals

  • Running consultations or decision-making processes

  • Voting on defined topics within a set timeframe

Each participatory process has a clear start and end date and may include different phases such as idea collection, discussion, and voting.

Participatory processes allow community members to actively contribute to decisions and shape the direction of Scriptony Foundation’s projects and initiatives.

Outcome Roadmap Feedback & Priorities

Community feedback on the development direction and priorities of the Outcome writing platform

About this process

A participatory process to review, discuss, and provide feedback on the development roadmap and technical priorities of the Outcome writing platform.

This participatory process invites the community to review and discuss the development roadmap and long-term technical direction of Outcome, an open-source writing platform developed by the Scriptony Foundation.

Before participating, please review the
Outcome – Development Roadmap and Technical Direction:
https://board.scriptony.org/assemblies/outcome-project/f/14/

The process focuses on gathering constructive feedback, risks, and missing considerations, especially during the foundational development phase (v0.1.0 → v1.0.0), where stability and compatibility are the primary priorities.

This is not a voting process and does not define release dates or binding feature commitments.
Its purpose is to improve clarity, transparency, and shared understanding between the project maintainers and the community.

Community contributions collected here may inform future development decisions once the core foundation of Outcome is stable.
